This blend should be brewed with the lungo button on OriginalLine Nespresso®* machines, but can also be brewed using the espresso button.
The Harvesting and Roasting Process
The coffee beans are sourced from small coffee farms in Central America. The beans are gently decaffeinated using a natural water process, and are then slowly roasted to bring out their strong and charismatic flavor notes. Finally, they are finely ground to the approximate espresso lungo grade.
Aroma and Flavor Notes
The mild aromatic profile of the coffee beans selected from this region include balanced caramel flavors. The lungo finishes with a buttery smoothness. Due to the roasting process, as well as the choice of coffee beans, this blend has almost no acidity but is still a balanced lungo. With its subtle tone of caramel and it’s smooth finish, the SFCC House Blend Decaf Lungo is a mild yet bold espresso. All at a price that’s roughly 30% less than Nespresso®*.
