And there is good reason for this. Check out our Gevalia K cups® review to see our top three favorite blends.
Gevalia's tagline is “rich, never bitter”. This slogan is to be taken literally as all of Gevalia's coffee offers a signature richness that I think can only be experienced to be fully appreciated. A friend of mine introduced me to Gevalia K cups® many years ago and I've found them to be nothing short of a luxury in life. In fact, Gevalia coffee was one of the few coffee brands that I felt gave me the true coffee experience without the bitterness that often turns off new coffee and would-be coffee drinkers. As I mentioned earlier, every coffee drinker is different. Sometimes smooth and rich aren't the qualities a person is looking for in their morning or afternoon cup of Joe. These folks like a smokier and less bodied experience that still awakens the senses but in a whole different way. If that's you, you may not be a fan of Gevalia. However, if you do appreciate a smooth and rich drink that offers deep body and subtle of flavor in every sip, then Gevalia K cups® are the way to go.
Gevalia Signature Blend K cups® – Medium Roast
This is a full-bodied bright and citrusy blend that offers a delightfully mild coffee experience. The citrus blossom notes are especially appreciated in combination with the blend's robust qualities. You'll also be able to taste delicate notes of cocoa. Personally, adding a dash of nutmeg to this blend makes for an amazingly balanced and extra enjoyable coffee experience. The Gevalia Signature Blend K Cup has just enough acidity to balance out the richness of this blend making it a near perfect combination of high and low notes.
Gevalia Colombia K cups® – Medium Roast
Next up is another exquisite medium roast blend from Gevalia. Truly a world-renown blend from Gevalia, the Gevalia Colombia K Cup is a rich, bright, and well-bodied coffee that is a single origin classic. I found this to be a highly complex blend where the you can really taste hints of winey acidity notes backed by a richly-bodied base. Even though it carries a deliciously bright flavor reminiscent of a light roast, it has such depth in texture that will appeal to many medium roast drinkers. In many ways, in brings together the best of two roasting worlds and is the perfect blend for those who go back and forth between light and medium roast coffee.
Gevalia Dark Royal Dark Roast K cups® – Dark Roast
Last but certainly not least is the Gevalia's decadent dark roast K Cup which offers an unquestionably bold, rich, and smooth coffee drinking experience. Gevalia's dark roast k cup really highlights the company's commitment to a ‘never bitter experience.' Usually it's the dark roasts that tend to be the most bitter. However, to no surprise, Gevalia has created a dark roast blend that defies all stereotypes. This bold yet uplifting blend is in my opinion of one of their best offerings. I've had many dark roasts that were so bold that it became difficult to discern the subtle flavors. These subtleties are key to a good gourmet coffee experience. I like being able to taste the full gamut of flavors when I drink my coffee. Gevalia's Dark Royal dark roast K cup is meticulously balanced, allowing the drinker to experience the deeply rich nature of the coffee while being able to enjoy hints of bittersweet cocoa notes all in the same sip. If you've ever considered yourself a dark roast k cup fan of any kind, this blend is perfection in a pod.
And there you have it. While Gevalia has nothing short of a top-rated selection of coffee products, these are some of the best Gevalia K cups® that the well-established company has to offer.
