For some context, I’m a coffee-loving woman in her late sixties. I’ve had my share of coffee including the good, the bad, and the downright undrinkable. For the last year, I’ve jumped head-first into the world of the best CBD coffees and can say that I’ve certainly had my share. What is CBD?
CBD is a compound found in the cannabis or marijuana plant. It’s been proven as a natural remedy for a variety of health issues from join pain to anxiety. I’ve personally found CBD to be an excellent addition to my wellness regiment and it’s even helped my husband sleep better and stay more even-keeled throughout the day. In other words, it’s been nothing but a blessing to my family. It’s important to note the difference between THC (the primary psychoactive component found in cannabis responsible for feeling of getting ‘high’) and CBD. CBD isn’t psychoactive. You will not get high from CBD. There’s a plenty of information available on CBD and its natural health benefits which I won’t cover in detail here. Let’s get on to the coffee 🙂
Green Roads CBD Coffee – Review
I separate all of my CBD coffee reviews into two sections: The coffee and the CBD. Let’s be clear, I’m a coffee lover first. What this means is that if the coffee doesn’t taste good, I won’t drink it no matter how good it is for me. You can decide whether that makes me a coffee snob haha! That being the case, it only makes sense that I start this Green Roads Coffee review with the coffee part first.

Green Roads Coffee Review: Aroma
The aroma was very strong….and just how I like it. The aromatic fragrance of this coffee reminds me of why I drink it in the first place. It’s pungent and rich and made my kitchen instantly smell like a gourmet coffee shop.
Green Roads Coffee Review: Taste
This coffee is intense. And this is coming from a woman who’s had over 50 years of drinking dark roasted coffee black.
I loved the strength of this brew and I’d recommend it for people who prefer their coffee on the stronger side.
I prepared this coffee in my standard French Press. This brewing method often produces an extra robust coffee so I’m sure that helped enhance the potency of this coffee. As I just said, I usually drink my coffee black with no cream or sugar. I usually pass on cream because I don’t like how it dilutes the coffee’s natural flavor. However, with a coffee so strong and flavorful, I decided to try it with cream since I wasn’t concerned about a lack of flavor. I must say, it was really good without cream but absolutely fantastic with it!
Green Roads sources premium Colombian coffee beans and are roasted in small batches. For all of this coffee’s strength, you could still taste a variety of subtle flavors such as hazelnut and chocolate caramel. This coffee was a true delight to drink and has earned a place as one of my favorite CBD coffees (and I’ve tried many.)

Green Roads Coffee Review: The CBD
As a disclaimer, CBD affects everyone differently. I come from a medical background so I’m always cautious when it comes to making any claims related to general health effects. At best, I can only share my personal experiences with it. The CBD used in this coffee is made from American Hemp and had a very pleasant and consistent affect on me. I had previously been dealing with some joint pains and found there was noticeable and distinct improvement after taking this cbd coffee. Throughout the day, I was able to move around unencumbered by any pain. That by itself already made the coffee worth it to me. To make matters even better, this CBD gave me a very calm and relaxed feeling throughout the day with zero signs of sedation.
In summarizing my experience with this CBD-infused coffee, I can say that I was thoroughly impressed once again with Green Roads and their coffee. Their Founder’s Blend is even more impressive than their previous version. This coffee is certainly worth a try if you’re an uncompromising coffee lover looking to explore the health benefits of CBD.
